We can see the change..

He was a man who has started earning Rs.150/= per day.He doesn't want to go back because he's happy in working here.

There was a huge problem of water.Same for drinking, bathing, washing..

Government has started providing utensils to the affectees.

The government was also providing detergents, soaps.Because this will help them to engage in some activities e.g washing clothes & their eating utensils.

Atmosphere has been changed..

She was good in making beads & threads.

There was a big difference b/w our 1st & this visit that in our 1st visit people were being annoyed & full of tension but in our last visit people have started there work by themselves like washing there clothes.

An embulance was taking a woman to the hospital.

A guy was distributing food individually to the affectees..

When we went to keemari relief camp 2nd time, we saw a huge no. of utensils containing food.

Risks of getting electric shock

Electricity has been provided to every camp in Razzakabad . There is one energy saver bulb in every camp plus a switch to recharge the mobile batteries. But recently a boy got a shock from the electric current . His father told us that the boy was just leaning against the metal pole which work as a main support (like column ) to the camp when he got the shock . The boy was saved by his father who himself got the same shock during the struggle, luckily he succeed to save his son and himself eventually.

This was happened because the main electricity wire, which goes to each camp and which is tied just a little above the pole, had made a contact with the metal pole causing the electricity to run through the pole. After this incident the people have attached a wood piece to separate wire to make contact. Even with this temperorary solution , there is still a high risks due to current as there are so many kids around and in case of rains or for someone with wet hands! A lot has been done which include the supply of electricity but there is a need for little things like better and safe wiring to be done to provide them not just comfort but safety of lives too!

A baby of 5days sleeping on her moms lap.
Both were in a bad condition.

Some people were complaining for cooler.
But there is a girl who's having her own cooler.

Part of 1st impression..

That was the only tanker which was filling water tank.
Usage: For washroom, For drinking..

Those were the kids who didn't get any proper shelter.

Washrooms were available but people weren't cooperating in cleaning.

1st impression..

That was a place where a man was distributing clothes to the affectees which weren't in a good condition.

Affectees were standing inside the relief camp for their medical facilities.

Those were the well managed camps...

These are the camps which are organized by government & also by other organization.

POSITIVITY CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

i saw a news on some news channel
a surviver in Punjab is having three daughters and a wife. His family was suffering from flood and had lost everything except their lives. They had nothing to eat. the head of the family waited for the people who could save them but found nothing. after three days when he saw that no 1 is coming to provide them food and relief, he himself left to search something to eat for him and children. he found nothing but some fishes in the stagnant water came from floods.
he caught some fishes. he told his neighbors.

now there is a group of people who are catching fishes from that water and satisfying their hunger.

and there are some concerned companies who are even paying to them for those fishes.

they showed their positivity and strength towards the situation and got the benefit at lats
